Platform
Enterprise PoC Platform Capabilities
A proven, enterprise-grade Push-to-Talk over Cellular platform that you own outright. Deployed by The Ashlar Group, maintained by The Ashlar Group, running on infrastructure you control.
Feature Set
The platform includes the features an enterprise PTT deployment requires. Most features are included. Some third-party integrations require additional licensing.
Instant push-to-talk voice communication for individual, group, and broadcast calls over cellular and Wi-Fi with sub-second audio delivery.
Video push-to-talk for visual situational awareness. Stream video feeds in real time to dispatch, supervisors, or other users.
Real-time and historical device location tracking with configurable intervals, geo-fencing, and route playback on the dispatcher map.
One-button SOS with automatic GPS coordinates sent to dispatch. Fall detection alerts and lone worker timers also available.
Interoperability with existing DMR and conventional radio infrastructure. Bridge PoC users with legacy radio users on the same system.
Remote device configuration, firmware updates, and application management over the air. No need to physically touch devices in the field.
Centralized call recording for compliance, training, and incident review. Stored on your infrastructure, under your control.
Dedicated PTT client applications for Android PoC radios and purpose-built devices. iOS support for dispatch and supervisory roles.
Voice, video, and data encrypted end-to-end using AES-256 over TLS/SRTP. Communications stay private on any network.
Two Console Options. One Fleet View.
Dispatchers can monitor and control the entire fleet from a browser or a full-featured Windows application. Both consoles connect directly to your private platform infrastructure.

Deployment Options
Deploy where your requirements dictate. The platform is infrastructure-agnostic and supports three environments.
Geo-Redundant US Data Centers
The standard deployment: platform runs across multiple US data centers for maximum uptime, automatic failover, and US legal jurisdiction over all data.
Customer Cloud Environment
Deploy in your existing AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud infrastructure when business requirements or compliance mandates it.
On-Premises
Full on-premises deployment for organizations that require the platform to run entirely within their own facilities and network.
White Labeling
Every customer-facing element of the platform can be branded under your name. White labeling is available across the full product stack, from the backend software to the packaging the end user receives.
- Platform software and administration interface
- Dispatcher application
- Android device application
- Physical radio hardware
- Device packaging and accessories
Licensing Model
Platform ownership is straightforward. The customer purchases the license directly from the developer and holds that relationship. The Ashlar Group handles deployment and ongoing managed services separately.
- Customer purchases the platform license directly from the developer
- Perpetual license. You own it outright with no recurring platform subscription to the developer.
- Customer holds the direct developer relationship and contract
- The developer offers an optional annual maintenance agreement for continued software updates and developer support. This is separate from The Ashlar Group's monthly managed services fee.
- The Ashlar Group's monthly per-user fee covers our managed services (infrastructure, maintenance, upgrades, backups) and does not include the platform license
Managed by The Ashlar Group
After deployment, we manage the platform under a monthly per-user fee. The platform stays current, secure, and performing without your team carrying the operational load.
- Performance monitoring and capacity scaling
- Platform software patch and upgrade management
- Backup management and disaster recovery
- Firewall configuration and security management
- Database administration
- Major platform version upgrades as they become operationally necessary
